Christopher Cooley

Class of 1990

Christopher Cooley founded the nonprofit organization “Serving Other Souls” in 2011. It is a servant-leadership group of 6-8 grade students built to create leaders through service based initiatives. He has received the 2012 Hero of Hope Award from the Murrysville Relay for Life, service awards from the mayors of Plum and Murrysville and the 2015 Jefferson Award for Public Service.


Joseph F. Gassette, Jr.

Class of 1977

Joseph Gassette attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology, graduating with a degree in chemical engineering. He is employed by the Dupont Company where he has developed and implemented I.T. systems that are used domestically and globally. He travels to Spain, Luxembourg, Northern Ireland , and Japan implementing and supporting these systems.


Steven Fabian Lisowski

Class of 2002

Steven Fabian is a correspondent for Inside Edition, a television newsmagazine. Working in broadcast television, he has covered the drug war in Juarez, Mexico, the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, and stops along the 2016 presidential election. He was caught in the middle of riots in Baltimore and Ferguson and interviewed celebrities on the red carpet of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.


James Nesbit

Class of 1977

James Nesbit has performed with many famous musical groups and celebrities. As a soloist, he has appeared at Carnegie Hall and the Virginia Symphony. He has served on the faculties of many prestigious universities and is presently an instructor of saxophone and jazz winds at the College of William and Mary. He frequently travels abroad conducting chamber music workshops for students in economically depressed nations.


Suzette Shaffer Schultz

Class of 1978

Suzette Schultz received degrees in chemical engineering and chemistry from Penn State University. She is a Senior Global Project Manager for AstraZeneca, interacting with colleagues in Europe, Asia, and South America to bring advanced medicines to patients as quickly as possible. She delivered the 2014 Commencement Speech at Penn State, New Kensington and provides a scholarship to Plum graduates who need financial aid.
