Linda Tresco Belfus

Class of 1967

Linda Belfus has had a distinguished 45-year career in medical publishing. She retired as senior vice-president of Elsevior, a leading provider of digital information solutions for science and health care professionals, empowering them to make informed decisions and deliver better health care. She received the Penn State Liberal Arts Outstanding Alumni Award in 2017 for her work in mentoring students and endowing a scholarship for high-achieving students. She is active with the Make-a-Wish Foundation and other local charities.

Gary A. Getz

Class of 1972

Gary Getz is a Chief Executive Officer of Strategos, a leading global innovation and strategy consultancy. He has worked with clients around the world to help them develop and execute breakthrough strategies and drive profitable growth. He is the author of numerous articles and the co-author of a marketing strategy book published by the Harvard Business Press. An active supporter of the arts and education, Gary has provided financial support for many organizations, including scholarships at Princeton and Plum classmates in need.

Matthew J. Kelly, M.D.

Class of 1987

Dr. Kelly is an orthopaedic surgeon in Central Pennsylvania, on the teaching staff of the UPMC-Pinnacle Orthopedic Residency Program in Harrisburg and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Dr. Kelly served in the U.S. Army for eight years as an orthopaedic surgeon, including deployments to Iraq and Macedonia. He has served on medical mission trips to Kenya, Honduras, and Tanzania. In Tanzania, he instructed local physicians at a teaching hospital. He volunteers as the team orthopaedic surgeon at Palmyra High School.

Keith G. Kondrich

Class of 1979

Keith Kondrich’s 30+ year career in social services and Christian ministry includes serving as Director of Gannon University’s Center for Social Concerns, various positions for the United Way, Associate President of Elderhostel, Executive Director of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, and Director of Outreach for Pittsburgh Catholic Charities. Ordained a permanent Deacon for the Diocese of Pittsburgh, he provides pastoral care to local parishes. A prolific writer, he has published over 100 letters-to-the-editor in various publications.

Deborah A. Lange, Ph.D., P.E.

Class of 1975

Dr. Lange has been committed to furthering environmental initiatives, working at Carnegie Mellon since 1997. She is the manager of K-12 STEM outreach for the College of Engineering ,and Manager of Alumni Relations for the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. She was honored as the 53rd recipient (and the first woman) of the Engineers’ Society of Western Pennsylvania 2017 William Metcalf Award. The award recognizes engineers who make outstanding contributions to the region and is one of the highest honors given by the ESWP.
